HMS Musashi (BC-775) is a Nike-class battlecruiser, part of the Royal Manticoran Navy. The RMN is from the Honor Harrington novels by David Weber. (All but the last few can be downloaded for free from the Baen Free Library and the online copy of the CD from a recent hardcover. It is best to start at the beginning, with On Basilisk Station.)
HMS Musashi, HMS Galahad and HMS Gawain are also a group of chapters of The Royal Manticoran Navy, the official Honor Harrington fan association. Galahad was first commissioned in April 2012, Musashi in September 2012, and Gawain in April 2013. We are part of Second (Gryphon) Fleet. Musashi is based in Milwaukee, Galahad is based in Chicago, and Gawain in based in Madison. If you think you have what it takes to uphold the honor and tradition of the RMN, please contact our commanding officer, Captain (j.g.) Timothy Bailey, QBM. If you do not live in the area, there are local chapters country- and world-wide. Please visit the RMN web site for more information. (There are links to some of our sister ships on our links page.)
Membership in The Royal Manticoran Navy is free - no dues. It's funded by donations and by the purchase of items from its Bureau of Supply. You can sign up here. We'd love for you to join Musashi or Galahad! However, the Chapter listing there is currently not showing all chapters, so choose HMSS Greenwich (the default chapter for new members), and someone will shortly ask you for your chapter selection.
